Partnering with Canadian Leaders to fight COVID-19

It’s time to #ShareTheHealth.

COVID-19 is the first truly global health crisis we have seen in our lifetime.

The COVID-19 pandemic has widened the global inequality gap and runs the risk of setting back 30 years of progress in children’s rights. For the sake of an entire generation of children, we must bring this pandemic to an end as quickly as possible.

While over 50% of Canadian adults have already received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, the situation is vastly different in lower income countries. On average, in high-income countries, one in four people have received a vaccine. But in lower-income countries, it’s closer to one in 500.

We are in a race against time. We need to act swiftly to vaccinate as many people globally as possible before more new COVID-19 variants emerge. The pandemic will not end for anyone, until it ends for everyone.

UNICEF is calling on Canadian business and philanthropic leaders to donate to UNICEF’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts to help protect as many people globally as possible. See who’s already joined us.

How is UNICEF working to distribute COVID-19 vaccines?

As the global leader in vaccine delivery, UNICEF has been tasked, through the COVAX facility, with delivering two billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines to 190 countries around the world before the end of the year.

This will be the most ambitious humanitarian challenge of the last 75 years, and will be the largest, fastest immunization effort in history. UNICEF is stepping up to the challenge to deliver vaccinations to those who desperately need them.

Your business or organization can help us make history.

How can Canadian businesses and organizations help fight COVID-19?
