Jan Lisiecki

Jan Lisiecki was born in Calgary in 1995 to Polish parents. He had his orchestral debut with the Calgary Civic Symphony at the age of 9, and has since performed as a soloist more than 50 times with orchestras in Canada and internationally.

Already recognized around the world for his poetic and mature playing, Jan Lisiecki has received several awards, and has signed an exclusive recording agreement with Deutsche Grammophon.

Recently, Jan has traveled to Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley to visit schools supporting Syrian refugee children. Jan continues to advocate for children’s rights and UNICEF’s work supporting children around the world.
